Handle or Username: * Enter a username or handle that represents you on the mesh.
Avoid special characters, and do NOT use your real name!

Emoji (Optional): Enter an optional emoji as a shortcode to represent you on the mesh.
This should be unique and used across all your companions.

Identification Strategy: * Choose how to identify this specific companion

By Public Key (Default)

Use the companion's public key as the suffix. This is the default and most common method.

Assign Specific Role

Assign a specific role to this companion. Do not reuse the same role for multiple companions.

Select Companion Role: Choose the role for this companion.

What do these options mean?

Primary: The primary companion device, the default method to contact a user.
Secondary: A secondary companion device, less critical than the primary device but still used regularly
Tertiary: A tertiary companion device, used occasionally or for a specific purpose.
Backup: A backup companion device, not regularly used. Serves as a fallback option if other devices are unavailable or not working.
Emergency: An emergency companion device, reserved for critical situations. May have special configurations or settings to ensure it remains operational when other devices may not be.
Mobile: A mobile companion device, designed to be portable and used on the go, such as hiking.
Vehicle: A vehicle companion device, intended for use in a car or other vehicle. May have features or configurations optimized for mobile use.
Home: A home companion device, intended for use in a household or non-mobile setting. May have features or configurations optimized for home use.

Assign Specific Number (1-99)

Number your companions 1 to 99. This could be in order of importance, in order of creation, etc.
